Palette Studio launch-list privacy notice

Last updated:

Mai Sato (trading as Mumu Labo, “we”) handles personal information submitted through the launch-list form on palette-studio.app as described here. This notice covers landing-page registration, not product, image, or store information processed inside the Shopify app.

1. Information we collect

When you register, we receive your email address, consent to launch news, optional consent to post-launch updates, and display language. We also store the registration and update times, the consent-text version, delivery status, an unsubscribe identifier, and related processing times needed to manage your registration.

If you follow a referral link, we store the referral code and capture time in your browser’s local storage and submit them if you register within 30 days. We also store the host name of the referring URL when you register.

To deliver the site and receive form submissions, infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare may handle technical information including IP address, request time, and browser information. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

2. Purposes of use

We use your email address and consent choices to send Palette Studio launch news and, only if you separately opt in, post-launch release updates. We also use information as needed to manage registration and opt-outs, check referrals, address abusive submissions, and respond to enquiries and privacy requests.

The optional update opt-in is off by default. We do not accept a registration without consent to launch news.

3. Storage and external services

Cloudflare Pages Functions receives the registration and stores it in Cloudflare D1. If integration with the product-specific registration system is configured, we send the email address, consent, language, referral information, and registration row ID to an intake API designated by us. Without that configuration, this transfer does not occur.

We use Cloudflare and Google Fonts to display this site. Their respective handling of technical information also applies. Except where disclosure is required by law or processing is outsourced, we obtain any consent required before sharing registration information with a third party.

4. Retention, opt-out, and deletion

There is currently no uniform automatic-deletion deadline for launch-list records. To stop messages or request deletion, contact us below. Once email delivery begins, you may also use an unsubscribe link if one is included in the email. We will verify your identity and respond after checking any legal retention obligations.

A referral code in your browser becomes ineligible after at most 30 days from capture and is removed on the next page visit. You can also clear your browser’s stored site data. After a D1 row is deleted, a previous state may remain in Cloudflare’s recovery history for its applicable recovery period.

5. Enquiries and privacy requests

For access, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your registration information, contact us using the link below. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.

6. Changes

If our handling changes, we will update this page and its last-updated date. Where a new purpose requires consent, we will explain the change and obtain the necessary consent.
